6 – LA/SS News 1-9-15

Students have analyzed primary sources through the National Archives’ site called DocsTeach. Students have partnered together on Google Docs to take notes (analyzing primary sources). From those notes they reflected on their initial thoughts and ideas about immigration and how these ideas have changed. Next week students will receive identifications (processors) for our Ellis Island simulation the day of the State of the School. Students are encouraged to create their own immigrant identification of a grand parent or a great grand parent as well.
