Mr. Shilhanek’s 7th grade LA/SS class has been busy presenting the six elements required to create a civilization and comparing how Indus Valley, Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt and China used those elements. Students created projects, ranging from stop-animation features to a time-lapse film.

History Fair Outlines: Students have also attempted their first thesis statements and their 3-5 page History Fair paper. Outlines are due next Friday. Students are realizing how challenging thesis statements can be. Please check due dates on Haiku and on the pdf that has been printed out and hopefully placed on your refrigerator.

History Fair and Judges: The Quest Academy History Fair will be Thursday, February 16 from 1-3:30 for judging and 3:30-4:30 for parents to come.
